Senior Consumer Research Executive/Account Manager

We are looking for a new team member to join our expanding sports research consultancy. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly skilled team working within the competitive sports and sponsorship industry for a number of high profile clients and events.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ market research experience (ideally agency-side). The position will sit between an Account Director and Research Executive.

You should be comfortable with all aspects of the survey process as these will form the bulk of your day-to-day tasks, i.e.

• Writing research proposals
• Designing research programmes based on client’s objectives
• Writing questionnaires
• Commissioning fieldwork via third-party research agencies
• Ensuring surveys are fielded properly (quality control)
• Analysing/interpreting data
• Reporting/presenting results

On most projects you will work with the Account Director, however there will be situations where you will be running projects yourself. In both cases, you will be able to make use of the Research Executive and Admin Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of projects, therefore some staff management experience is desirable.

You will be:

• Reliable, confident and assertive
• Professional in attitude and delivery
• Numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Articulate when dealing with clients and staff
• Computer literate with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Other useful skills to own:

• Ideally the candidate would have experience of using research software tools such as, or similar to, SPSS, TGI, Quantime, Rajar, Infosys etc.

• Another language is useful but not essential

Salary will be dependant on experience, but we are looking for over three years of experience in a consumer research role at one of the leading market research agencies.


Consumer Research Executive

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months consumer research agency experience. Your main responsibilities will be to provide assistance to the consumer research Account Director and Senior Research Executive as well as to regularly report on your own ad-hoc projects.

Your day-to-day tasks will be:

• Interpretation and analysis of market research data - inputting data and assembling PowerPoint charts
• Proof-reading proposals, questionnaires and reports and provide input as appropriate
• Sourcing, commissioning and liaising with fieldwork agencies to conduct online/face-to-face surveys and focus groups
• Production of materials to be used in research projects
• General administrative tasks to support the senior staff

You will be:

• Reliable, confident and assertive

• Able to prioritise work and manage several tasks simultaneously
• Capable of producing good desk research/market intelligence research
• Articulate when dealing with clients and staff
• Computer literate with good Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Ideally the candidate would have experience of using research software tools such as, or similar to, SPSS, TGI, Quantime, Rajar, Infosys etc.

Junior Account Executive

With our business continuing to expand, Sponsorship Intelligence (SI) is looking to recruit a Junior Account Executive in the area of media research.

Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in our field however we would also be keen to hear from recent graduates with a keen interest in our area of business.

The main duties for this role include:-

• Collecting TV audience data, checking it then compiling the information into reports
• Analysing event footage for sponsor exposure and reporting on the findings
• Producing valuations for sponsors to establish the return on investment
• Desk/Internet research to establish what certain companies and their competitors are sponsoring

Salary will be dependant on experience.


IT Development/Support Executive

We are looking to fill a newly created IT development/support role. Previously, external companies have provided IT development to Sponsorship Intelligence; however, our growing business now requires dedicated in-house support. Essential programming skills required for the role are C#, .net Framework 2.0, ASP.net, T-SQL & SQL server, while excel VBA is preferred.

The role will include web design, developing client specific areas of our website used for reporting while also co-ordinating with account managers to regularly update information on the site. We would be keen to hear from graduates with the required skills who are also able to assist in day to day IT technical support. Currently general IT support is provided through our parent company and the successful candidate would be the point of contact for this at Sponsorship Intelligence.
